Ah, yes Dead Like Me was a great show, first and second seasons were brilliant and the last season was great once they found out there were being canceled and stop treading water. [That’s my guess anyway of why the half way shift to wrapping things up]
The synopsis of the movie doesn’t inspire confidence though. But even stock story tropes can be good if executed well.
Welcome in Q.
Welcome. I don’t watch that show, but I’ll happily read your reviews so i can throw random bits of info out at my wife.

Chuque: Hello good readers,
First I want to indulge my ego for a minute and talk about one of my favorite topics: Me. My name is Chuque (think of something closer to Chuck but in the neighborhood of Jacque and you are almost there) and yes a little bit of google magic and you can learn that my name is really Charles but only my mom calls me that and only when I am in trouble. I am just a simple boy living in the great state of Texas and in the greater city of Austin. I have been here for a few years now and call this home. I enjoy live music, strong drinks, tattooed women, and people with a unique take on things (And now you see why I feel at home in Austin)
This is my first attempt at reviewing/ recapping a show; so bare with me as I find my voice over the next several weeks. Instead of talking on lengths about one of Austin’s favorite sons like Robert Rodriguez or Richard Linklater or how the shooting crew for Friday Night Lights screws up traffic in my hood. I’ll be writing about the ABC series Pushing Daisies once the second season begins to air later this week. If you have not seen the first season you still have a few days to cram in all 9 episodes. This is from Bryan Fuller the same man that brought us one of the best series ever; Dead Like Me. A show not ahead of its time, but certainly not as popular as it should have been. However thanks to the firefly effect we will see a direct to dvd movie version. “soon”™ Honestly tho, without Bryan behind the camera or Mandy in front of it I am not expecting much.
You can read better penned descriptions of Pushing Daisies elsewhere but I will add that the real magic of the show is that perfect mix of a great cast and writers coming together to tell an goofy tale in a most entertaining way. So I hope ya’ll enjoy reading my take of this fantastic and quirky little show.
