JimK:  There was some fanboy-driven (::waves hands as a guilty fanboy::) talk of Downey getting a nomination for his Tony Stark.  Then for his Lincoln Osiris.  Nobody gets Oscars for comedy though, no matter how good the movie is or the actor is in the movie.  Sure you can find a single exception here and there over the years, but no one is gonna give him a statue for a snarky superhero or a brilliant comedic turn in blackface and blue contacts.  They might give him one for something like this, though.  Hell they might give one to Jamie too...he’s only going half-retard. Maybe it’s the cut of the trailer, but the movie has a far more...okay, lost the sentence there, and now I can’t really figure out what it makes me feel.  “Faster pace?” It feels more...modern than I expected.  Better.  Less...ponderous and weighty.  I feel like I actually really want to see this story, not just see RDJ in a movie to satisfy my mancrush.

Every time I see Jamie Foxx my jaw hits the floor.  The guy from In Living Color should not be this good of an actor.  And yet there he is.  That man can act.
