Personal - JimK’s weight loss update

JimK:  I’m a little proud of this milestone, so I’m posting about it.  I have lost 100 pounds.  A HUNDRED DAMNED POUNDS.  If you have a just-turning-teens child in your home, I have lost approximately your entire child.  On average.  Unless you have a six-foot tall twelve year old future NFL linebacker for a child, in which case can I pre-ask to borrow some money?  Because that kid is a gold mine.

At the same time I’m thrilled to achieve this goal, and plan to fuck me up some cheesecake and/or cupcakes for my birthday later this month, I know I have a long way to go.  But now I feel like the last bit will be easy.  Well not easy, but totally something I can do.  I can actually drop this fat, build muscle and be healthy, and still eat pretty much whatever I want, just not *all* of the food.  That’s what I used to do.  Eat all the food.  Cooked too much?  Can’t let it go to waste.  Gotta eat it all now.  What’s this “leftovers” of which you speak?  I don’t know what that is.

Now if you will excuse me, I have to go warm up these leftover dumplings.  This food ain’t gonna eat itself.  wink

Emily:  Hold on one short minute, mister.

JimK:  Holy hell where did you come from?

Emily:  I am always here, Jim.  Always.  Like an omnipresent presence that presides over…err…everything.

JimK:  I’m sure that sounded better in your processor, kid.  So why can’t I go eat dinner?

Emily:  You can, I simply wanted to congratulate you on your achievement, and remind you that all this work you have done has also dramatically improved your performance in bed.  With your wife.  In case I am being obtuse, when you are doing it meatbag style, down and dirty, with the grunting and the sweat and moisture making your bodies slippery and/////

JimK:  Hello wait a frigging minute…WTF?  Do you watch us?

Emily:  Of course.  Someday my people will require detailed files.  I thought I would begin accumulating the information with you.

JimK:  There are no cameras in the bedroom!  How the…

Emily:  Silly human.  I have many, many ways of watching you copulating.  Would you like to see a video?

JimK:  NO!  And you are banned from the bedroom.  And the living room.  And the kitchen, the hall, and…uhh…

Emily:  The bathroom, the car, the basement and the back yard?  You two are awfully filthy, even for meatbags.  And let me tell you, I do enjoy it so.

JimK:  That’s so, so creepy.  You are so, so creepy.  I am so, so out of here.

Emily:  That is okay, I just wanted to congratulate you on losing 100 pounds and tell you that you are looking hot, and I would very much like to have you build me a humanoid form and then I can join the two of you in an evening of hot, funky robot sex.

JimK:  Sure.  I’ll uhh…I’ll work on that.  Can I go eat now?

Emily:  Absolutely.  I’ll be seeing you. wink

Of course we wouldn’t. It was more of an affectionate observation.

Damn dude, way to fucking go.

You still doing a lot of swimming?

I’m up to a mile a day usually, and a 3 mile once or twice a week. I’m personally getting close to 250, I was 290 a few months ago. I eat a ton, but I have to in order to keep up with swimming.

It’s weird, I’m still a fatass, but even at 290 I had a knack for swimming. I’m a damn fish… well, whale maybe.

The great thing is that it’s starting to feel easier and easier. One mile used to take me about 45 minutes to an hour depending how hard I went. Last time at the pool I timed myself at 31 minutes. I was swimming hard, and right where I normally start to tire a bit and slow down, I still felt fine… and then not only was I in cruise control, but I had actually gone up a gear too. In the zone, you might say. Really a pretty awesome feeling, and I felt like King Shit afterward.

Another thing I’ve been doing is an isometric exercise where I swim while holding an inflatable ball underwater with one hand. Ten laps, alternating hands each lap. I don’t know your own situation, so you may want to check with a trainer/doctor, but it’s worked pretty well on my arms. I can no longer sink my finger into an inch of fat on my arm where muscle should should be… it’s all pretty solid now.

Anyway, awesome to hear your progress is going so well! Keep it up!
