Those new games will get you from time to time. For me it’s Starcraft 2, there’s no way I’m going to be able to play it to my own satisfaction without a completely new machine. There’s also Spore but I think my machine can mostly handle it except for some video glitches from time to time.

And I mean that in the best way. Diablo 1 and 2 are easily my mom’s most played games. I don’t know how many times she has beaten Diablo II but I know that when she finishes she starts up a new game. Actually she used it as part of her personal rehab after her stroke. Retrain some of those fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.

Never got into Diablo.

Oh, I bought the full Creature Creator allready, s’why I mentioned the video glitches. The game supports ATI Radeon 9500, 9600, and 9800 series cards, and just my luck mine is a 9700 so sometimes when I start the game it glitches.

I played da fock out of the other two games, and when I am bored pull the discs out. Its one of the best things ever put on a Pc.
I have to admit when I got up this morning and saw this announcement, I wet my self a little.
My sentiments exactly Jim.
I’d sworn off constantly trying to keep my computer updated. For the price of a top of the line video card I could buy a console and a bunch of games with it.
But then Blizzard comes and smacks my shit around and tells me I’m done when they say I’m done. And then they call me a bitch.
JimK: OK, the announcement of Diablo 3 could make me jump back into the PC gaming rig rat race. I could see buying a new PC capable of running the game. I know DonnaK will want to play this for about, oh I dunno, the next five to seven years. She still keeps her Diablo II disks on hand.
Damn you, Blizzard! I was off the upgrade treadmill! Damn yoooooou!
